Children’s care across NW London has improved with more specialist children’s services available, a new report has found.
The report, published by the NHS in NW London, evaluated the changes to children’s services over the past year following the introduction of a new way of caring for children and the move from six hospitals with children’s wards to five. The changes included the closure of the children’s inpatient ward and children’s A&E at Ealing Hospital and addition of significant extra capacity to other major hospital sites across NW London.
Harrow CCG will be holding a Governing Body meeting in public on Tuesday 26 September at 15:30 to discuss greater collaborative working across the North West London CCGs.

We’re launching a new pilot service that will help GPs and patients get to the right place every time once they’ve been referred by a GP.
The Harrow Electronic Referral Optimisation Service (HEROS) Pilot is a behind-the-scenes process for receiving and processing non-urgent referrals from GPs to secondary care services such as hospitals and community services.

A screening service for Tuberculosis (TB) is available to patients visiting GP surgeries in Harrow.
Harrow has the fifth highest number of people with TB in London reflecting a large migrant community from countries with high risk of TB.
