Conflicts of Interest Policy published for Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon (BHH) CCGs

The BHH CCGs Federation Operational Committee held its inaugural meeting on 26 July 2017, where the CCGs met in common and approved its Conflict of Interest Policy. You can view the policy along with the corresponding annexes here.

The policy applies to all CCGs in North West London. It sets out how the CCGs will comply with the NHS England (NHSE) directive on Conflicts of Interest and the expectation placed on staff and Governing Body members.

Dealing properly with Conflicts of Interest is vital to securing public confidence in clinically led commissioning.  The consequences of failing to do so could have significant implications for CCGs, both legal and reputational. Understanding and complying with this policy is a contractual obligation of all employees of the CCGs.  Failure to do so may lead to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.

Workshops are being planned for CCGs for further understanding of this policy.
