On Monday 10 June Honeypot Medical Centre will open its doors to patients from its brand new purpose-built medical practice, on its original site in Honeypot Lane in Stanmore.

The newly built premises offer a greater number of clinical rooms, more modern and comfortable space and provides improved access with a new lift, enabling all patients to access consulting rooms over two floors.

New prescribing and referral suites have also been incorporated into the facility, along with additional disabled parking spaces.

Dr Meena Thakur, GP Partner at Honeypot Medical Centre said: “We are excited to welcome patients to the new look Honeypot Medical Centre and believe they will greatly benefit from our new modern facilities. We hope patients will find the clinical and waiting areas much more comfortable.

The practice is committed to accessibility for all our patients, with more disabled parking spaces, ramps and a lift at our new location. More clinical rooms will allow us to see patients in a quick and timely manner.”

Over the past year, the practice has been operating from temporary accommodation in its branch site in Charlton Road, a short walk down the road, while the Honeypot site has been fully redeveloped. Following Monday’s opening, all services will be transferred to the newly refurbished surgery at Honeypot Medical Centre and the Charlton Medical Centre site will close permanently on Friday 14th June 2019.

Patients have been contacted about the move and patients should attend any appointments already booked at Honeypot Medical Centre, 404 Honeypot Lane, Stanmore HA7 1JP, from Monday 10 June.

No telephone numbers will change during the move and the surgery can be contacted on 020 8204 1363.
